NorwayLeif Ogaard is a Norwegian Grandmaster and five-time Norwegian Chess Champion whose path to the GM title spanned an extraordinary quarter-century between his second and third norms. He became one of the oldest players ever to earn the Grandmaster title when FIDE approved it in 2007, and remains a respected figure in Norwegian chess.
