GM Petar Popović
Serbian Grandmaster Petar Popovic earned his IM title in 1977 and the GM title in 1981. He compiled an impressive tournament record through the 1980s, claiming first-place finishes at Pecs (1980), Novi Sad (1981), Bor (1985), and Pucarevo (1987), while also representing Yugoslavia at the 1986 and 1988 Olympiads.
