Mikhail Gurevich is a Soviet-born Belgian Grandmaster who earned his title in 1986 and ranked among the world's top ten players from 1989 to 1991. His versatile repertoire spans the French, Pirc, Nimzo-Indian, and Tarrasch defences. He now serves as an FIDE arbiter and senior trainer.
