GM Vlastimil Hort
Vlastimil Hort was a Czechoslovak and German Grandmaster who ranked among the world's strongest players during the 1960s and 1970s. He reached the 1977-78 Candidates Tournament but never advanced to a World Championship match. His broad opening repertoire included the Reversed Sicilian, Benko Gambit, and King's Indian Defence.
