GM Arshak Petrosian
Armenian Grandmaster Arshak Petrosian won the Armenian Chess Championship in 1974 and 1976 before becoming a prominent Soviet tournament player in the 1980s, scoring victories against top GMs like Shirov, Vaganian, and Morozevich. Awarded the International Grandmaster title in 1984, he later transitioned into coaching and served as trainer and mentor to his son-in-law, Peter Leko.
