GM Mato Damjanović
Mato Damjanovic was a Croatian Grandmaster who represented Yugoslavia in international team events. In 1964, he became the second Croatian player to earn the Grandmaster title, following Mijo Udovcic. His competitive play often featured the Ruy Lopez and its exchange variations.
