Krunoslav Hulak was a Yugoslav and later Croatian Grandmaster who earned the IM title in 1974 and the GM title in 1976. Reaching a peak Elo of 2570, he was a prominent figure in Yugoslav chess circles and favored the Symmetrical English and Modern Benoni in his games.
