Mihail Marin is a Romanian Grandmaster and esteemed chess writer. A three-time Romanian champion, he qualified for the Interzonal in 1987 and represented his country at twelve Chess Olympiads, winning an individual bronze in 1988. He also served for years as editor of the magazine Chess Extrapress.
