Michele Godena is an Italian Grandmaster who achieved his GM title in 1996 after a strong performance on board one at the Chess Olympiad in Yerevan. A five-time Italian champion, his repertoire ranges across the French, Caro-Kann, and Modern defences, making him one of Italy's most versatile players.
