GM Walter Browne
Walter Browne was an Australian-born American Grandmaster who earned the GM title from FIDE in 1970 and went on to win the U.S. Chess Championship six times. A fierce competitor and devoted Najdorf Sicilian practitioner, he was also an accomplished poker player.
