GM Vladimir Kramnik
Vladimir Kramnik is a Russian Grandmaster who defeated Garry Kasparov to become Classical World Chess Champion in 2000, a title he held until 2006. He subsequently became the 14th undisputed World Champion from 2006 to 2007. Kramnik's opening mastery, including his famous rehabilitation of the Berlin Defence in the Ruy Lopez, reshaped top-level chess preparation.
