GM István Csom
István Csom was a Hungarian chess player who held both the Grandmaster and International Arbiter titles from FIDE. After earning the IM title in 1967 and the GM title in 1973, he won the Hungarian Championship in 1972 and jointly in 1973. His extensive tournament career produced victories across Europe and Asia, including events in Olot, Cleveland, Berlin, Copenhagen, and Delhi.
