Pia Cramling is a Swedish Grandmaster who in 1992 became only the fifth woman in history to earn the full GM title from FIDE. She held the top spot in the FIDE women's rankings on three occasions in the 1980s and has remained one of the strongest female players in the world for over four decades. Her opening repertoire includes the Sicilian Taimanov, the London System, and the Colle System.
